Lilly AJAROVASENIOR PRESIDENTIAL ADVISOR ON TOURISM

Lilly Ajarova is a distinguished Ugandan conservationist and tourism expert, currently serving as Senior Presidential Advisor on Tourism. She previously served as CEO of the Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), where she led the award-winning “Explore Uganda, The Pearl of Africa” brand and strengthened the country’s global tourism profile. Earlier, she transformed Ngamba Island as Executive Director of the Chimpanzee Sanctuary & Wildlife Conservation Trust and held senior roles at the Uganda Wildlife Authority. Ajarova holds a Bachelor’s degree from Makerere University, an MBA from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute, and an honorary doctorate in Tourism & Hospitality Management. She is celebrated for her visionary leadership in sustainable tourism, wildlife conservation, and community empowerment.
