Rita Nabateregga is a seasoned investment promotion specialist and policy analyst, currently serving as Deputy Director for Investment Promotion at the Uganda Investment Authority. With a strong background in credit risk and corporate banking from her time at dfcu Bank, she now leads efforts to attract and facilitate both foreign and domestic investment in Uganda’s priority sectors.

Rita has played a key role in developing investment profiles in partnership with agencies such as UNDP and Operation Wealth Creation, focusing on agriculture, human capital, infrastructure, and tourism. She is a regular voice at high-level forums, where she advocates for Uganda’s investment potential and supports investor engagement across regions.
