Coffee Workhshop

On October 24, 2024, the French Chamber of Commerce Uganda hosted a Coffee Tasting Workshop with Ugacof, Touton, and Ibero Coffee Uganda.

The event brought together industry professionals, coffee enthusiasts, and FCCU members for an immersive experience in coffee, vanilla, and cocoa. FCCU members experienced hands-on activities, including vanilla pod displays, coffee nursery visits, and a factory tour, offering a comprehensive look at the value chain from farm to cup.

Participants engaged in interactive sessions, fromtasting premium coffee varietiesto exploring the journey of coffee from bean to cup. The workshop also showcased vanillapods, providing insights into Uganda’s growing vanilla industry, and featured an educational factory tour and visits to coffee nurseries, offering a behind-the-scenes look at sustainable farming practices.

This workshop not only deepened participants’ appreciation for Uganda’s agricultural potential but also fostered meaningful connections within the business community, reaffirming FCCU’s role in supporting knowledge-sharing and industry growth.
